
JoAnn is never more at home than when she is in the kitchen. Drawing on her 30 years of experience in the food industry, as a restaurant owner, chef and caterer, she is able to share tips and techniques that not only result in dishes rich in flavor, but that are fun to prepare.
She earned a Blue Ribbon from the New York Cooking School. JoAnn loves to teach and has an easy and approachable manner, along with a delightful sense of humor, which have made her classes very popular and well attended. She is a mother and grandmother of three grandsons that she calls the “dessert of her life!”
We believe that cooking should not only result in a fantastic food, but should be fun! Our classes range from Cooking Basics, to provide a foundation for all cooking, to seasonal themes and international favorites.
Since the kitchen is not limited to women alone, we also teach classes for couples, parent/child, teens and children. JoAnn Gertsman, our resident chef, teaches many of the classes and we host guest chefs as well. All of our classes are guaranteed to result in a great time, delicious nibbles and new knowledge.

What better way to spend more time with your child than to cook the family meal together! Robin will guide you and your child in the preparation of a meal in our kitchen and take home to baked in your own kitchen. Class includes all ingredients, recipes, and instruction. Each meal includes an entree, side dish, and dessert for a family of four. Bring a cooler, ice pack and containers to carry your meal home. Meat or vegetarian options available.
